Raw Talent 2011: The 12x12 Vancouver Photo Marathon Exhibit
For 12 hours on a sunny summer Saturday, 60 photographers captured their interpretations of 12 randomly drawn themes with only 12 exposures of 35mm film each. Now it’s time to reveal the results of the 3rd annual 12x12 Vancouver Photo Marathon. Check out the exhibit where we will relive the excitement of that day’s events as we celebrate the art of film photography.
Over 700 untouched photos will be on display and the winning prints revealed. This year's panel of judges includes Urban Rush's Fiona Forbes, Vancouver Photo Workshops instructor Syx Langemann, current organizer of FotoMarathon Copenhagen (the original photo marathon) Samir Maktabi, and for the first time, a mystery judge!
Come join us on Sunday September 25th, 2011 as 60 marathoners regroup with nervous anticipation to find out how their images developed.
